How to get to Craiglinnhe House

From the South (A82):

Just before you reachthe Ballachulish Bridge, about a mile after passing Ballachulish, you come to a roundabout where you take the second exit signposted Oban A828. Craiglinnhe is on the left hand side about one mile along the A828 from the Ballachulish Hotel. Watch out for the blue Craiglinnhe House sign!

From the South (A828):

After passing through the village of Kentallen and the Holly Tree Hotel, we are about a mile on the right hand side. Again, watch for the blue Craiglinnhe House sign!

From the North:

From Fort William, head south along the A82. After about 13 miles cross the Ballachulish Bridge and at the roundabout after the bridge, take the first exit signposted Oban A828. Craiglinnhe is on the left hand side about one mile along the A828 from the Ballachulish Hotel. Watch out for the blue Craiglinnhe House sign!

Both Glasgow and Prestwick Airports are within two hours’ drive.

By Train

There is a regular train service from Glasgow Central to Fort William. See the Scotrail website.

By Bus

Buses run from Glasgow and stop at the Ballachulish Bridge. See the Citylink bus timetables.
